The Marion County Family Resource Network (FRN) was formed in January of 1997, in order to provide a forum for participants of public service programs, and other interested community members to work together in planning, coordinating and evaluating structural modifications to our current service delivery system.
The mission of the Marion County Family Resource Network is to bring citizens together, individually and collectively, to improve the lives of Marion County families. This is done by assessing community needs, planning to address those needs, mobilizing the community, and evaluating the results.
The Marion County FRN envisions our community as one in which families are educated, empowered and supported in achieving their maximum potential. We picture Marion County as an area that has successfully accomplish the coordination and collaboration of the many existing resources here to address the health, safety, educational, economic, social and spiritual needs of all families, while eliminating any duplication of services.
